Description:
This position works in tandem with a Financial Advisor to maintain client relationships. The goal of this position is to offer custom advice in areas such as investment management and financial planning. The Associate Financial Advisor will be responsible for maintaining ongoing communications with clients, meeting preparation, creation of financial plans, and other administrative tasks relating to clients.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday
  • Hybrid; 4 days ITO, 1 day WFH

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in client meetings in the appropriate capacity which could include but is not limited to: taking notes, creating priority lists, drafting communications, delegating assignments, documenting history, quarterly calls with clients
  • Manage the planning process
  • Transition into lead advisor for certain clients when development has reached appropriate level
  • Participate in and conduct client reviews and prepare plan revisions
  • Follow up on client issues and communicate on a timely basis
  • Place trades in client accounts according to BFG models on a timely basis
  • Manage processes through Salesforce
  • Serve as back up to other team members as needed
  • Learn and utilize all firm programs

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of financial services industry experience, preferably with some involvement in a similar role
  • Series 65 License or CFP required
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other staff, clients, and the general public
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce and eMoney is a plus
  • Ability to seek out solutions and solve problems
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
