Financial Analyst Position Title: Financial Analyst Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 Location: On-site Reports To: Finance Manager Position Summary The Financial Analyst will support the organization’s financial planning and analysis activities, providing accurate reporting, meaningful insights, and data-driven recommendations. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and supporting strategic decision making across departments. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Assist in the development and maintenance of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long range financial plans. Prepare monthly variance analyses, investigating performance drivers and identifying trends. Create and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and decision making.

Reporting & Analytics Compile and distribute monthly financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards. Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flow, and operational performance metrics. Present clear insights and recommendations to management, supporting strategic and operational initiatives.

Business Partnership Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (Operations, Sales, HR, Accounting) to gather data and understand business impacts. Provide financial support for department heads, helping them manage budgets and understand variances. Assist with business cases for new projects, investments, or cost saving initiatives.

Operational & Accounting Support Support month-end close activities by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial adjustments as needed. Assist in enhancing and documenting internal financial processes and reporting standards. Partner with accounting teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.

Tools & Systems Utilize Excel, financial modeling tools, and ERP/reporting systems to analyze data efficiently. Support automation, dashboard improvements, and reporting enhancements (Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.

1–4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar analytical roles. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); financial modeling experience preferred. Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Workday, Oracle, SAP, etc.) is a plus.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Comfortable working in a deadline-driven and fast paced environment.
