Interact with patients, guests, physicians and other members of a multi-disciplinary clinical team to create an exceptional patient experience. Responsible for supporting patients with completing financial assistance applications and handling collections of payments on account. Educate and assist patients with enrolling into health benefit plans or related insurance issues. Performs administrative duties with patient registration operations in designated outpatient clinic setting.
Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works with patients to provide financial assistance or secure payment on account.
  • Facilitates processing and provides support to patients with financial assistance applications.
  • Educate and conduct enrollment assistance with patients for eligible health insurance plans.
  • Assist patients with completing Ryan White Client Eligibility requirements.
  • Support check-in and check-out processes for patients and scheduling appointments.
  • Confirm patient demographics, insurance information, prior authorization and physician referrals.
  • Aid patients with obtaining State assistance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
