Job description

Are you interested in accounting, finance, business, or public administration and looking for hands-on experience? The Joliet Public Library is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Business Office / Finance Assistant Intern to join our team!

In this role, you’ll gain practical experience supporting the day-to-day operations of a public library’s Business Office, with exposure to accounts payable, payroll, purchasing, financial recordkeeping, reporting, and general office administration. You’ll work closely with the Business Manager and have the opportunity to contribute to special projects and process-improvement initiatives.
