The Financial Analyst - Accounting Operations supports financial reporting, operational accounting, and data analysis functions. This role blends traditional accounting responsibilities with financial analysis to ensure accurate reporting and provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze financial data and develop reports for management decision-making.
  • Prepare preliminary financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Develop and maintain analytical reporting tools and financial models.
  • Interpret financial data and provide insights on trends and performance.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • General Ledger and Accounting Operations
  • Maintain the General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Investigate discrepancies and variances.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial data and documentation.
  • Accounts Receivable and Revenue Monitoring
  • Monitor AR activity and post invoicing transactions.
  • Apply payments and reconcile cash receipts.
