Job description


Our client, a large distribution company in the Metro Detroit area, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and planning and working with Operations business partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Financial Analyst
  • Support role in month end close, monthly financial statement analysis/preparation, and operations reporting, supporting multiple business units
  • Support preparation of annual budget and update forecasts on a monthly basis or as needed
  • Work closely with Business Unit team to identify/address risks and opportunities
  • Maintain the analysis on production spending/efficiency compared to plan

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of the Financial Analyst
  • 2-5 years of finance experience in a mid-sized or large company
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
  • Expert in Excel knowledge, Pivot Tables, Vlookup and SUMIF formulas
  • Working knowledge of large ERP system
