Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess risk characteristics and recommend pricing and terms that balance competitiveness with financial discipline.

  • Apply quantitative analysis and underwriting judgment to evaluate profitability drivers and articulate trade-offs.

  • After training, help manage a book of business by monitoring performance, identifying trends, and taking proactive action.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to design solutions that meet customer needs and support retention.

  • Negotiate with clients and brokers using clear rationale, professional presence, and strong follow-through.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Preferred majors/minors: Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Economics, Finance, Management, Mathematics, or Healthcare.

  • If your degree is outside these majors/minors, you must have relevant prior experience or an internship in the analytics, finance, or insurance space.

  • Demonstrated quantitative capability (coursework, projects, or experience) and comfort working with math and numbers

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations with clarity

Additional Information:

  • Start Date: January 11, 2027

  • Location: This position is based in Chattanooga, TN; Bloomfield, CT; Scottsdale, AZ; or Denver, CO. The role requires a hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of three days per week working onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, and one additional day of the employee's choice), and the option to work the remaining days remotely. Relocation assistance is not offered, and employees must be able to meet the onsite schedule for their assigned office location.

  • PreEmployment Requirements: Selected candidates will be required to complete mandatory preemployment tasks approximately 45 days prior to the program start date. Completion of the drug test requires availability within the United States during this timeframe.

  • Work Authorization:This position is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa support including H-1B or CPT/OPT/STEM, etc., now or in the future.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 25 - 38 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
