CFO
Rapidly growing and privately-owned company is seeking a well-rounded problem-solving CFO to oversee financial strategy, financial planning, financial analysis, financing/refinancing, and bank relationships. More than just a numbers person, the successful candidate will possess a broad skillset with the ability adapt on the fly and quickly learn and process new information to support the CEO and executive team in charting the company's strategic direction and seizing high value-add opportunities and acquisitions in a dynamic, fast-paced and highly acquisitive environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and management, track record of financing acquisitions through loan broker relationships, experience in the real estate industry preferred with restaurant experience a plus, and pedigree from top-tier academic and corporate institutions. This position has tremendous upside for professional growth, experience, exposure, and compensation.
Objectives of this role:
  • Build and oversee the financial strategy, financial planning and analysis
  • Oversee all financing and re-financing of loans. Experience in financing real estate loans, strong broker relationships, and strategic problems solving for complex deal structures is required
  • Support acquisition activities & help integrate new acquisitions
  • Read, analyze, interpret and make recommendations on presentations, strategic agreements and financial documents
  • Manage relationships with banks and build new strategic relationships

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • MUST BE ABLE TO THRIVE IN A FAST-PACED FAMILY-OWNED AND OPERATED ENVIRONMENT
  • Demonstrated expertise in constructing models from diverse data sources, the ideal candidate must showcase advanced proficiency in Excel, along with proven skills in financing, in depth knowledge of Macros and Financial Modeling, which will be assessed during the application process
  • Be a polished representative of the company and elevate its profile in the eyes of investors, banks and industry insiders
  • Can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and ready-to-roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
  • Quick learner with strong finance-based problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Results driven, extreme sense of ownership, and Business savvy with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and social / networking skills with the ability to influence key business partners and colleagues
  • Experience in financing debt in the restaurant and/or real estate industries will be heavily weighted
  • Must have flexible work schedule and work extended hours
  • Experience with Yardi and GP preferred
  • Willing to start on contingency basis for working on refinance projects: can receive up to 2% of loan amount success fee

Salary:
