JOB SUMMARY

The Trade & Capital Markets Accounting and Reporting Analyst assists with establishing and maintaining accounting policies and fiscal controls to safeguard the organization's assets. Under close supervision, the job prepares standard financial report, statement and analysis to provide insights for business decision making. The job also assists with continuous improvement in management reporting, report standardization and rationalization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • ACCOUNTING: Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, creates standard accounting report packages, and supports new setup and changes in existing financial applications to maintain accurate and efficient financial recording.
  • ACCOUNTING SERVICES SUPPORT: Performs standard accounting services to maintain accurate and efficient financial recording and reporting, including applying accounting techniques and practices to classify and record financial transactions, accounting for administrative expenses, verifying the accuracy of detailed financial business transactions, month end general ledger close, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit and loss analysis.
  • FINANCIAL STATEMENT & ANALYSIS: Delivers standard financial and management reports to support business decision making.
  • INTERNAL CONTROLS: Partners to implement internal controls to ensure financial processes are performed timely, accurately and in compliance with regulatory policies.
  • PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS: Implements continuous process improvement, including simplifying and optimizing process, improving data integrity and applying current technology.

MINIMUM & TYPICAL YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE
  • No minimum years of relevant experience required. Typically reflects 2 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Compensation

The expected salary for this position is $53,000 - 75,000.Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
