Senior Finance Analyst

Full Time, Direct Hire

Onsite, Plano, TX

Business Partnership & Modeling | Telecom Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our finance team in a high-visibility role focused on financial modeling, FP&A, strategic analysis, and business partnership within the telecom infrastructure space.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building sophisticated financial models, translating complex data into actionable insights, and partnering directly with senior leadership, business unit heads, and cross-functional teams. The Senior Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making across the business, with exposure to high-impact initiatives involving fiber networks, tower assets, infrastructure investment opportunities, M&A, and long-range planning.

About the Role

As the Senior Finance Analyst, you will serve as a go-to expert for designing, building, and maintaining complex financial models that support critical business decisions. You will work closely with leadership and business partners to evaluate investment opportunities, monitor financial performance, and develop clear recommendations based on detailed analysis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong modeling expertise and experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure finance, or telecom-related FP&A who is looking for a strategic, business-facing role in the rapidly evolving telecom infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build sophisticated financial models, including DCF, IRR/NPV analyses for fiber and tower assets, scenario and sensitivity analyses, and multi-year integrated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow models
  • Lead financial planning and analysis cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate infrastructure investment opportunities, new market entries, and strategic alternatives
  • Support project finance analysis for tower sales, fiber network builds, and infrastructure fund structures
  • Translate model outputs into clear, compelling presentations and executive-level recommendations
  • Own and continuously improve existing models to ensure accuracy, scalability, and efficiency
  • Monitor KPIs and financial performance against plan, proactively identifying variances and risks
  • Support M&A processes, including target screening, due diligence, and integration financial analysis related to telecom infrastructure assets

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with TMT coverage, private equity, infrastructure finance, or FP&A within telecom or adjacent industries
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills in Excel
  • Experience with Python, SQL, or BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with project finance structures, infrastructure valuation, and capital markets for regulated or contracted asset businesses
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders

Ideal Fit

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, modeling, and business partnership. This person should be comfortable building complex models, presenting insights to senior stakeholders, and supporting strategic decisions in a fast-moving telecom infrastructure environment.

They will bring strong technical finance skills, business judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to turn detailed analysis into practical recommendations for leadership.
