About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Finance Team as we continue to propel the business through data-driven forecasts and provide influential insights. This individual will work on a range of activities in support of business decisions and management reporting. You will partner closely with senior level business and finance leaders to work through all aspects of financial planning and reporting. This is a global role, and the person in this position interacts with all areas/departments of the company. The position is full-time, based in our global headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, and reports to the Sr. Director of FP&A.
What You'll Do
  • Work with a team consisting of financial directors, analysts, and accounting professionals

  • Support and/or lead the forecasting, reporting, and budgeting process for operational expenses, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial constraints

  • Provide forward-looking insights and analysis based on data that will empower leaders to act

  • Using data and information, predict future outcomes of potential strategies

  • Analyze impact of current economic trends on operations

  • Measure financial risks associated with current and future business models and investments

  • Execute special projects at the request your manager and other members of the leadership team

  • Help coordinate data analysis activities around the globe across all functions

What You'll Bring
  • Essential:

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Experience supporting or leading traditional FP&A forecasting and budgeting processes, especially within operating expenses

  • Experience with or exposure to basic financial statements and metrics

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and globally, while also effectively managing independent tasks and responsibilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Data Science, Finance or Business Management or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Finance or related field

  • Professional and clear writing and presentation skills

  • Reside in Salt Lake City, UT

  • Beneficial:

  • Experience with Adaptive Insights (our financial planning system)

  • Experience with SAP (our ERP system)

  • Experience with general or financial modeling, either in Excel or other statistical analysis programs like Python, R, etc.
