Senior Financial Analyst / Project Finance
Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 base (flexibility up to ~$115K-$120K) + bonus

Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a growing government contracting organization in the Arlington, VA area that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst / Project Finance professional to join its finance team. This is a newly created role due to growth and offers high visibility, partnering closely with senior leadership.
This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in government contracting, project finance, and corporate finance, who is eager to make an impact in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support both programlevel and corporate financial operations
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial submissions including revenue, billings, and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, margin, and cash flow analysis
  • Perform EAC/ETC analysis, variance analysis, and scenario modeling
  • Analyze indirect rates and support contract financial performance
  • Partner with operations, contracts, and leadership to provide actionable financial insights
  • Assist with annual budgeting and longrange planning
  • Ensure compliance within a GovCon / FARbased environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in government contracting finance required
  • Strong knowledge of project finance and corporate FP&A
  • Handson experience with EACs, indirect rates, and contract financial analysis
  • ERP experience preferred (Unanet, Costpoint, JAMIS, or similar)
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and nonfinance stakeholders
