Job description

Role Summary

The Financial Analyst plays a key role in providing financial insight, analysis, and decision support across the organization. The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial models, forecasting, and supporting strategic financial planning efforts. Working closely with the finance and operations teams, the Financial Analyst will help drive profitability and efficiency within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key financial metrics

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Analyze operational performance and provide insights to senior management

  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes

  • Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning

  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and areas of concern

  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, including product line profitability, capital expenditures, and operational efficiency projects

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and project analysis

  • Provide decision support for various functional areas, including manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, identify key drivers, and develop insights to support decision-making

  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and controls

  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and supporting analysis

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
