Job description

Filaments Americas Region is seeking an Account Manager to develop and manage accounts in the filament market across North America. This professional will be responsible for driving growth in the region, fostering new opportunities, and ensuring solid commercial results.

The role focuses on markets such as toothbrushes, cosmetic brushes, industrial/Abrasive, paintbrushes, etc.

The ideal candidate will have an energetic profile, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate multicultural environments, interacting with technical teams in the US and China, as well as clients and partners across North America.


  • Manage and expand existing accounts across North America, ensuring excellent service and continuous business development.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the markets and competitive landscape in support of product and solution development. Identify growth opportunities and new markets for filament products in the region, with a focus on high-value applications.
  • Develop strategic account plans, drive topline growth at key accounts through KAM (Key Account Management) including setting growth strategies, delivering effective account planning, building and managing multi-level & cross-functions relationships, and successful execution.
  • Work closely with the technical support team to deliver tailored solutions to customers.
  • Continually draws insights on customer needs and seeks new sales opportunities from multiple channels to build healthy growth funnels. Build and maintain a robust sales funnel, ensuring revenue, volume, and margin growth targets are achieved.
  • Monitor the brushes and filaments market, including competition and trends, to support strategic decisions.
  • Actively engage in complex negotiations, leveraging interpersonal and commercial skills to secure positive outcomes.
  • Work with downstream brand owners to drive pull through demand and enhance Filament’s brand awareness via creative marketing campaigns and actives.
  • Identify high growth markets and define the strategy, business model, product positioning, margin structure, sales channels accordingly and drive execution to accelerate growth
  • Conduct a regular, routine process for managing sales objectives including Key Account Plans, Call Reports and execution tracking of funnel

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, engineering or other appropriate discipline.
  • 5-7 years of relevant commercial experience with strong business, financial and legal acumen
  • Experience in polymers, synthetic materials, or related markets is a plus.
  • Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills, national/global account management experience preferred
  • Strategic mindset to be able to see the big picture and the underlying business opportunities; Analytical ability to develop business cases and analyze market data.
  • Energetic, self-motivated with a highly entrepreneurial spirit and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in multicultural and adaptable environments.  
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to thrive in challenging scenarios and maintain a focus on financial results.
