The Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial leadership, support, and analysis to the Power Tools, Digital, and Service and Repair Center businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with key finance and non-finance team members, supporting the monthly close process, supporting reporting and variance analysis, and providing project support.
  • Collaborating with business partners to understand cost of goods sold, interpret variances, understand trends and impacts, and develop appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support all aspects of financial updates including the business plan, long range financial plan, forecasts, actual vs budget reviews, ad-hoc analyses, and serve as a key point of contact for finance and non-finance business partners.
  • Support standard cost updates for manufactured and purchased products.
  • Support internal controls compliance and any government surveys.
  • Provide financial support for innovation processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and special projects.
  • Perform other related duties, as required.

The ability to challenge business assumptions, develop alternative scenarios, and educate business partners on financial concepts is required. The candidate must demonstrate strong financial leadership by providing recommendations for improving the value of financial information, providing guidance to business partners, and developing robust framing for senior management presentations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 4 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required.
  • Cost Accounting experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills required (i.e., Pivot Tables, Formulas, XLOOKUP functions).
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to maintain and improve consistent and sound business processes in a dynamic, global environment is required.
  • This role is located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and may require up to 5% travel.
