Job description

We are currently seeking a Jr. Accountant / Tax Preparer in our Fayetteville office, to assist with preparing monthly financial statements for our diverse client base. The selected candidate will prepare tax returns for both individuals and businesses, amongst other financial solutions. A successful candidate will be detail oriented with experience in general accounting functions and tax preparation. This position requires a solid experienced accounting associate, with strong analytical skills. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment that rewards bright, self-starting, energetic, focused individuals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Prepare financial statements (income Statement, Balance Sheets, etc.)

· Prepare personal and business tax returns

· Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, accruals and other expenses

· Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries

· Regularly interact with clients and respond timely to their needs

· Continuously explore ways to provide thorough and value-added analysis

· Manage special projects as assigned

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

· Associates Degree

· 2+ years of accounting experience

· Competent in accounting and financial practices and procedures

· Ability to use QuickBooks efficiently

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
