What: Seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations.

When: Immediate need for a full-time hire.

Where: Cumming, GA (Onsite only).

Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager will oversee all core accounting functions including financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and cash flow management, supporting a stable but growing business environment across a few simple legal entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead accounting operations including monthly close and consolidated reporting
  • Maintain internal systems and refine reporting structures and chart of accounts
  • Handle AP, AR, GL, payroll review, job costing, and bank reconciliations
  • Manage intercompany transactions and produce accurate financial statements
  • Coordinate with external partners on tax filings, audits, and compliance
  • Strengthen financial procedures and ensure adherence to GAAP
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning efforts
  • Deliver insights to leadership to guide decisions and vendor negotiations
  • Mentor accounting staff and manage relationships with banks and insurers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
  • 7–12 years of progressive experience, including 3+ years in an Accounting Manager or Controller-level role
  • Strong knowledge of financial consolidations and internal controls
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (non-QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills
