About the team:
Walmart US Manufacturing operates five plants, including case-ready beef, with a focus on efficient financial management and operational excellence. The team supports the Thomasville location by overseeing costing processes, month-end closing, and financial statement analysis. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the team ensures accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in financial reporting and risk management. What you'll do...

• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Reconcile complex accounts involving data from multiple systems to maintain data integrity.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including cash flow, balance sheet, and profit and loss reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial planning, forecasting, and risk management strategies.
• Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and implement internal controls.
• Manage financial data and metadata to support accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless financial operations.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in financial statement analysis, including balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow correlations.
• Strong knowledge of month-end closing processes and reconciliation of complex accounts.
• Experience with GAAP standards, advanced accounting methods, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively across functions.
• Proficiency in forecasting, budgeting, and cost accounting techniques.
• Skilled in identifying process improvements and implementing controls for operational excellence.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and internal control assessments.
• Competence in data management and leveraging technology to enhance financial reporting accuracy.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
