Job Overview

The Finance Director serves as a senior finance leader responsible for the full spectrum of financial activities in a fast-growing multinational industrial products and EPC business. This role partners directly with the Vice President as a strategic business partner, leads a high-performing finance team, and ensures rigorous financial discipline and alignment with corporate finance governance.

Core Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Vice President, providing insights on performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate operational drivers into financial outcomes to support decisions on pricing, investments, and growth.
  • Build and evolve finance capabilities for business growth, scaling processes, systems, and controls.
  • Oversee financial performance of complex projects, including margins, costs, risks, and revenue recognition.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and longโ€‘range planning; drive performance through KPIs and variance analysis.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital, improving cash conversion, collections, inventory, and payables.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP and corporate policies; maintain internal controls, governance, and audit readiness.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a highโ€‘performing finance team.
  • Serve as the key link to corporate finance, ensuring alignment with reporting, policies, and governance.
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance or Accounting and active CPA.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in a multinational, industrial or projectโ€‘based business.
  • Deep understanding of revenue recognition and project accounting, including overโ€‘time recognition concepts.
  • Strong experience in FP&A, cash flow management, and operational finance.
  • Proven ability to partner directly with a Vice President or business leader as a strategic advisor.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a public company environment (SOX, audit, governance).
  • System experience in OneStream and Navision.
Compensation

$131,450.00โ€‘$169,000.00 per year, varying based on experience, education, and location.
