Job Description
The Manager, Patient Financial Services Claims and AR, is responsible for managing the daily operations of Patient Financial Services (PFS), and all related billing and collection practices. Maintains compliance standards that meet or exceed all state and federal regulatory requirements. Manages all aspects of accounts receivable including charge capture, pre-bill and bill edits to support clean claims, claim generation and reconciliation, reimbursement, denials management, follow up functions and revenue cycle functions. May include PFS for CHHA, LHCSA, FPS, VNA Pharmacy and Kaleida Services.
Collaborates with all stakeholders supporting PFS, including administrative, clinical, and financial leadership and staff. Maintains positive relationships with payers. Maintains culture of accountability with staff and promotes a positive, team oriented environment. Influences positive operational and financial outcomes.

Education And Credentials
Associate's degree in accounting, Finance or similar field required.
Experience
3 years of experience in Homecare Billing/Operations required. 3 years of experience in a staff supervisory role preferred.
