The Finance Specialist is a key member of the Finance team. The position has several duties, which include:

  • Functioning as a backup to the Billers, AR Specialist, and AP/Escrow Specialist roles in the department
  • Backup coverage entails covering vacations and providing physical in-office assistance on remote workdays
  • Perform some of the backup responsibilities on an ongoing and rotating basis to increase retention and contribute to the smooth operation of the Finance Department
  • Work with colleagues and Attorneys on an as needed basis to achieve Finance department objectives
  • Projects as assigned by the Finance Manager
  • General and other office duties as required

  • Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
  • 5 years' comparable experience desired including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billing
  • Proficient in using 10-key for data entry with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Comfortable speaking with clients, colleagues and Attorneys
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent Follow up and detail skills
  • This position is 100% on site
  • The schedule is M-F 8:30a - 5p
