Position Summary:
MarshBerry is seeking a Sales Operations Associate, based in one of MarshBerry's office locations. The Sales Operations Associate will help drive MarshBerry's growth strategy by enabling the sales team to achieve their new business goals. The Sales Operations Associate will focus on building the sales infrastructure, identifying process improvements and identifying development opportunities. The Sales Operations Associate will be responsible for regular reporting on key performance metrics, analyzing the data and making recommendations to leadership.
This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate may be located out of our MarshBerry office in Beachwood, Ohio, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Plano, Texas or Dana Point, California. This individual will work onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Friday's.
This resource will report into our Investment Banking & Consulting Director.
Responsibilities:
  • Enable business development team and MarshBerry consultants to achieve new business goals through continuously improving sales infrastructure and processes.
  • Support individuals with sales goals with pipeline management, business plans, lead generation and forecasting efforts.
  • Monitor team members' productivity and capacity and propose adjustments as needed.
  • Assist with coaching and developing individuals with sales goals and recommend training opportunities.
  • Ensure the right performance metrics are in place and develop regular reporting and dashboards to track progress.
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining information in Salesforce ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Partner with the Salesforce Operations Team to make updates to Salesforce to enhance the effectiveness of the system.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other teams to align lead management, thought leadership efforts, and continual improvement of lead quality and conversion.
  • Assist with development of marketing strategies and materials that align with service delivery strategies, as well as assist with external and internal branding execution.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
  • Special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Selection Criteria
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing or related degrees.
  • Related professional designations and licenses are preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of sales operations, business analytics, or related experience ideally within investment banking or financial services.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus, especially with reporting and dashboards.
  • Strong analytics experience utilizing excel and BI tools.

Other:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information and that of clients.
  • Positive and professional, able to show consideration for and maintain good working relations with co-workers and remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (10-15%).
