We are hiring a hands-on Finance Manager who combines strong analytical thinking with disciplined financial operations. In this individual contributor role, you will own core financial processes, deliver insights for leaders and investors, and directly influence company growth. As an AI-first company, Finance should operate the same way, using AI and automation to accelerate the close, reduce repetitive work, and free capacity for higher-value analysis and strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do
  • Financial Operations & Close: Lead the monthly financial close in partnership with our external accounting team, overseeing revenue, billing, AR, and payment workflows.
  • Budgeting & Expense Management: Partner with business owners across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align expense plans with growth and profitability targets.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Improve forecasting across revenue and operating expenses, translating business drivers into clear models and reporting.
  • AI & Automation: Continuously experiment with AI and workflow automation to streamline the monthly close, reconciliations, billing, and reporting, reducing manual work while improving speed and accuracy.
  • SaaS Metrics & Analysis: Maintain ARR/CARR and SaaS metric models, including retention analysis, cohort views, and variance to plan and prior periods.
  • Reporting & Decision Support: Deliver accurate reporting and actionable insights for executives and investors, supporting strategic decisions and fundraising diligence.
  • Process Improvement: Implement scalable processes to drive efficiency in billing, revenue planning, and financial reporting, including applying AI and automation where it improves speed or accuracy.
  • Ad-Hoc Modeling: Create models for new deal valuation, pricing, revenue forecasting, and other analyses that guide business growth.

Who You Are
  • You bring 3-5 years of finance and/or accounting experience, including at least 2 years in FP&A or strategic finance.
  • You have a strong understanding of GAAP revenue recognition and collections in B2B SaaS, including usage-based billing.
You have demonstrated ownership of close deliverables with outsourced accounting or controller partners.
  • You're highly skilled in Excel/Google Sheets modeling, with strong analytical rigor and attention to detail.
You're a clear, concise communicator who can partner thoughtfully and drive alignment across teams.
You thrive in a lean, fast-moving startup environment with high standards for accuracy and follow-through.
Experience in high-growth startups or tech companies is strongly preferred.
  • B2B SaaS experience is a big plus.
