Finance Manager - Columbia, MD

About the Company and Finance Manager Opportunity:

  • CFS is partnering with a repeat client, a stable non profit in the Columbia area. Due to an upcoming retirement, they will be hiring a Finance Manager who can eventually move into a Director of Finance position within 3 years or less.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
  • Own and prepare monthly and quarterly financials, including P&L reporting

  • Assist with contracts and related accounting oversight, as applicable
  • Help streamline, digitize, and improve accounting workflows and systems
  • Supervise one Accountant
Qualifications for the Finance Manager:
  • Bachelors degree in in Accounting, Finance, or similar required. MBA or CPA a plus but not required
  • 4+ years' general accounting experience
  • Experience working at a non profit a plus
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
  • Proficiency with Excel required
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, hybrid schedule in Columbia, MD
Salary: $100,000-$115,000 depending on experience
