Drive finance transformation across strategy, operating model, technology, data, and artificial intelligence (AI). As a Finance Strategy Manager on Deloitte's Finance Transformation team, you will work with Finance and Technology leaders to solve complex challenges, modernize finance functions, and improve business performance. You will help clients manage risk, enable innovation, and unlock greater value from the finance organization.

Work you'll do

As a Finance Strategy Manager on the Finance Transformation team, you will be responsible for:

Leading finance strategy and transformation engagements focused on operating model design, process improvement, finance technology, data, and artificial intelligence (AI)

Assessing client needs, synthesizing analyses, and developing recommendations aligned to engagement objectives and enterprise value

Managing engagement delivery, including workstreams, deliverables, stakeholder communications, and project execution

Supporting business development through proposal development, solution design, and client presentations

Mentoring teams, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to practice growth

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field

8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or consulting, including advising chief financial officers (CFOs) in finance transformation, finance technology and architecture strategy, data and artificial intelligence (AI), capital strategy, cost optimization, process improvement, or service delivery and operating model design

Experience leading at least 2 large-scale finance transformation projects involving finance process redesign, service delivery model development, or technology implementation

Experience implementing at least 1 digital finance technology solution within a finance function, such as robotic process automation, predictive analytics, or data visualization tools

Experience managing 2+ workstreams on transformation projects and delivering major milestones on time and within scope

Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced business degree

Experience managing project or resource budgets exceeding $250,000

Experience leading cross-functional teams across Finance, Information Technology (IT), Supply Chain, or Human Resources (HR)

Experience developing proposals and delivering programs with multiple workstreams and teams of 10+ members

Experience with finance technology platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, or OneStream, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Experience across finance processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, close acceleration, or finance business partnering

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $141,200 to $278,300.
