Job description

The Manager of Finance will report directly to the VP of Finance and play an important role in supporting the fiscal health and growth of the company. You will be responsible for assisting with project and corporate financing activities, including tax equity / tax credit sales, construction and permanent debt, and helping ensure that our development pipeline is adequately and efficiently capitalized. • Coaching and mentoring more junior finance team members, fostering a culture of professional growth and technical excellence
  • Participating in external calls and meetings with capital providers, legal counsel, and technical consultants, with support from other Finance team members
  • Leading the development and maintenance of complex financial models to evaluate project returns, sensitivity analysis, and cash flow forecasting
  • Supporting, along with Cloudbreak's asset management team, corporate reporting obligations and ensuring compliance with financial covenants and investor requirements.
  • Coordinating effectively between internal development teams and external financial stakeholders to ensure seamless deal closings and maintenance of project budgets
  • Attending industry conferences and building familiarity with key market participants and financing trends.
  • The position is in Boulder, CO and is full time. The employee will be expected to be in the office 4 days per week.
  • Occasional travel may be required

Requirements

    • Experience supporting or executing financial transactions, with a desire to take on increasing responsibility as deal lead over time.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial concepts to internal and external stakeholders
    • High level of organization and attention to detail, particularly in high-stakes, fast-paced environments
    • Interest in supporting and developing more junior team members as the organization grows
    • Advanced financial modeling skills and a strong understanding of energy project economics
    • Self-directed and proactive, with the grit required to overcome challenges in a fast- growing company.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $130,000-$165,000, depending on experience.
  • Performance-based bonuses, with a 15% target.
  • 401(k) with up to 4% match, vesting on the first day of employment
  • Health, Dental and Vision Insurance
  • Flexible PTO & Sick leave
  • Generous parental leave
