Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Finance Manager in Fremont, CA or Mesa, AZ who will support a key Business Unit and partner closely with BU leadership across the company. This role will drive financial planning, business performance, manufacturing finance, and strategic decision-making to support profitable growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings deep manufacturing finance experience, strong financial modeling capabilities, and a proven track record supporting global businesses. Solar industry experience is required, with power electronics experience considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Business Unit & Performance Management
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to BU leadership, providing financial insights and decision support.
  • Drive business performance through analysis of revenue, margins, operating expenses, and cash flow.
  • Support strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, investment evaluations, and profitability improvement programs.

Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases.
  • Perform variance analysis, communicate risks, opportunities, and key business drivers to leadership.

Manufacturing & Operations Finance
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor product costs, manufacturing variances, inventory, working capital, and capital investments.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and operational performance improvement programs.

Data Analytics & Process Improvement
  • Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting tools to support business decisions.
  • Leverage advanced analytics, AI tools, and automation to improve forecasting accuracy and operational insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and data governance.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred. CPA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant experience in Manufacturing Finance, FP&A, or Business Unit Finance in solar industry
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations and cost management in a global environment; experience in renewable energy, with power electronics experience a plus.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (i.e. Oracle, NetSuite, SAP or similar).
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, AI-enabled analytics, or digital finance transformation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders. Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global organization.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $150,000.00-$190,000.00. (Applicable to California)
