A Day in the Life
If you are looking to utilize your business partnering, financial analytics and strategy skills, come join the fast-paced, high-growth world of Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Operating Unit (OU). In this critical role, you will serve as a Principal Financial Analyst driving business strategy, prioritization, and ROI in the high growth and competitive Electrophysiology market. You will report into the CAS Senior Finance Director, and work closely with the OU general manager and marketing teams to standardize processes, assess opportunities to drive market share, and build business acumen across the operating unit.
You will play a key role in driving market analytics, advancing upstream development programs, partnering across IBP processes, owning the CAS market model, and supporting quarterly Investor Relations reporting and messaging.

We are working onsite a minimum of 4 days per week as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities will include the following and other duties may be assigned, as applicable:
- Drive long range planning opportunities in partnership with IBP, Operations, and Marketing functions
- Own quarterly ENRICH updates for key development programs and market opportunities partnering closely with R&D Finance, Development, and Marketing teams
- Collaborate with marketing, pricing, and regional finance on strategic margin & pricing initiatives
- Support Investor Relations deliverables at quarter end and in preparation for investor meetings and conferences
- Oversee Global Strat Plan revenue and Control (market) submissions
- Manage global market share in partnership with the CAS strategic marketing team
- Support the financial planning, budgeting, and analysis processes for the CAS operating unit including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly/quarterly forecasts and Strategic Plan
- Partner closely with the Finance organization to provide analytical support and data-driven insights to inform business decisions
- Support strategic initiatives through ad-hoc requests, scenario modeling, and special projects as needed by leadership

- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Strategy or technical area (5+ years with an advanced degree)

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$110,400.00 - $165,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
