Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling Quality Inspectors/Certified Welding Inspectors for projects located in the Green Bay, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Traveling Quality Control Inspector and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
  • Perform a variety of parts and product inspections to meet company and customer requirements Inspect incoming sub out parts
  • Document results of inspections (written/photo etc.)
  • Gather data and create reports for customers
  • Communicate quality discrepancies to shop supervisors
  • Maintain material certifications and inspection documentation
  • Maintain calibration control for all IMTE inventory
  • Perform inspections to ISO standards
  • Ability to use basic measurement tools (combination square, protractor, caliper, etc.)
  • Assist with sub out process - request purchase order, tag, and document count
  • Label nonconforming parts
  • Read blueprints to ensure fabricated products meet specifications
  • Maintain calibration control for all inventory

Requirements
  • Previous experience working in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
