About the role:
Contract opportunity for a Grid Inspector at the Westinghouse Columbia facility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely perform detailed dimensional and visual inspection of production parts that are repetitive in nature based on customer requirements using standard measurement tools and gages
  • Safely perform an overcheck of shipping documents and records packages provided by our suppliers to ensure the records are accurate and validate Westinghouse expectations have been fulfilled.
  • Read and interpret drawings, process information forms and standards to determine dimensional and skillfulness requirements
  • Review internal and external contract schedules and meet daily production needs
  • Use fundamental tools of non-conforming material including proper documentation in internal hold system
  • Communicate quality issues to all necessary levels of support promptly

THIS IS A CONTRACT Position
Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Must be Available all Shifts
  • Must pass Psychological/Safety Assessment
  • Must pass stringent background drug screen and medical
  • Can stand, sit, push, pull, kneel, bend and lift and carry 35 lbs
  • 2 Years Manufacturing experience is preferred
