PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a premier aerospace manufacturer to hire a skilled Avionics Quality Inspector who is passionate about precision, safety, and excellence. As an Avionics Quality Inspector, you will help ensure aircraft systems meet strict regulatory, engineering, and customer requirements throughout the manufacturing process. Your expertise will directly contribute to the safety, reliability, and success of advanced aerospace programs.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll perform technical inspections and quality assurance activities focused on avionics and electrical systems during aircraft production.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Execute technical inspections throughout the aircraft manufacturing process in accordance with authorized production standards

  • Perform visual, incoming, first article, and final inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, certification standards, and customer requirements

  • Document inspection activities and results within SAP, FLEXNET, NCMS, SAL-based systems, and related production documentation

  • Prepare first article inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records

  • Support troubleshooting efforts and Functional Test Procedures (FTPs)

  • Participate in Quality Survey requests and assist with root cause analysis activities

  • Compile technical non-conformance data and initiate discrepancy documentation within NCMS systems

  • Conduct audits and reviews of workbooks and Non-Conformance Rework Orders to ensure process compliance and PV approvals

  • Track and maintain components throughout the non-conformance process

  • Collaborate regularly with internal teams and external stakeholders to support production quality goals

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector within an aviation environment, with emphasis on avionics and electrical systems

  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and aircraft inspection processes

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, inspection plans, and technical documentation

  • Experience using inspection measurement tools and techniques including mechanical, optical, and electrical methods

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to work onsite in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License

  • Inspection Authorization (IA)

  • Previous hands-on avionics experience

  • Airline or commercial aviation experience

  • Experience with SAP, FLEXNET, NCMS, or related aerospace quality systems

  • Experience participating in MRB or non-conformance review activities

Pay Details: $36.00 per hour
