Job description

Black Bear Talent is seeking 3rd Shift Final Assembly workers. The successful candidate is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and preparing finished products for shipment while ensuring all quality, safety, and production standards are met. This role requires the use of hand and power tools, reading blueprints and work instructions, and verifying components are assembled according to specifications. This is a full-time contract to hire position.

Hours are 11:00pm - 7:30am

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform final assembly of products using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and measuring devices
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Assemble components to customer and manufacturing specifications
  • Conduct quality inspections to verify proper fit, finish, and functionality of completed units
  • Install parts, hardware, and components according to production requirements
  • Package and prepare completed products for shipment as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Assist with troubleshooting assembly issues and communicate defects or concerns to supervisors
  • Support production goals and work across multiple stations when required

Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints, prints, and work instructions
  • Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen and drug test
