Position Overview
We are seeking a technically strong, driven Sales Consultant – HVAC/Filtration to grow our air filtration business across the Cincinnati/Dayton territory. This role is designed as a leadership pipeline position, beginning with territory development and potential to progress into a Division Manager role. You’ll start by learning the business, products, and market under experienced leadership, with the expectation of eventually leading the division.
We’re looking for a problem solver with an engineering mindset who can deliver consultative, solution-based sales. The ideal candidate blends technical expertise with strong business development skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth: develop new accounts and expand existing customer relationships
  • Manage your territory: plan and execute sales calls, track opportunities, and maintain account activity
  • Deliver solutions: understand customer needs and provide effective filtration and air quality solutions
  • Build partnerships: collaborate with vendors to support training, product knowledge, and customer engagement
  • Execute strategy: develop and implement territory sales plans to meet or exceed goals
  • Stay informed: maintain strong product and industry knowledge within air filtration
Qualifications
  • Proven B2B sales, business development, or technical/mechanical sales experience - preferably within HVAC or mechanical equipment preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude or engineering mindset strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering a plus
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a competitive drive to achieve results
  • Organized with strong follow-up and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory 2-3 days per month (Cincinnati, Dayton, Lima amp; Toledo markets)
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, manufacturing plant, customer site, and outdoor environments. The role requires regular travel within the assigned territory and on-site evaluations at customer facilities.
The employee must be able to access and navigate all areas of customer and company facilities, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and elevated equipment. This may involve climbing ladders and working in varying environmental conditions while adhering to safety guidelines.
