Job description

We are looking for individuals to work part time at the Smith Rafael Film Center in downtown San Rafael or the Sequoia Cinema in downtown Mill Valley. We welcome applications from students in high school or college, as we are a great place to gain customer service experience while working on a student-friendly schedule. Employees get free popcorn and soda and a few free tickets to our films!

Expected hours per week-5-20
Pay-$17.00

Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to all movie theater patrons
- Sell tickets and concessions, including food and beverages
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the theater premises
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests during their visit
- Assist with event management
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and conflicts in a professional manner
- Assist with crowd control during busy periods or special events
Skills:
- Hospitality skills to provide a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with patrons of all ages
- Knowledge or interest in theater and movies is desirable
