Interns may work in museums, archives, libraries, or academic settings, assisting with tasks like cataloging film collections, conducting research, and supporting educational programs. These internships help participants deepen their understanding of cinema's cultural, artistic, and historical impact, while building practical skills for future careers in film studies or related fields.

What are some typical projects or tasks assigned to interns during a film history internship?

During a Film History Internship, interns often engage in a variety of tasks such as cataloging film archives, assisting with research for scholarly articles or exhibitions, and helping to organize film screenings or educational events. You may also be involved in digitizing old film materials, conducting interviews with filmmakers or historians, and creating content for social media or museum displays. These experiences provide hands-on exposure to both academic and practical aspects of film history, while allowing interns to collaborate closely with curators, archivists, and researchers.
