Film financing refers to the process of securing funds to produce a movie. This can involve raising money from various sources such as studios, private investors, production companies, grants, pre-sales, or crowdfunding. The financing process is crucial because it covers the costs of development, production, post-production, and sometimes distribution. Effective film financing requires a solid business plan, knowledge of the industry, and negotiation skills to attract investors and ensure the project's financial viability.
