This role is hybrid in Austin, TX - 4 days in office and one day remote each week.
About the Opportunity
Step into a pivotal project management role where your expertise will drive the creation and delivery of high-quality digital content. You will be the central force behind podcasts and video productions, ensuring seamless execution from concept to distribution. This is an exciting chance to leverage your organizational prowess and production knowledge to make a tangible impact on investor education and engagement, working collaboratively with creative teams and subject matter experts.
What You'll Do
  • Help produce and deliver multiple direct-to-production video projects, social videos, and podcast episodes.
  • Manage workflow using an enterprise project management system, including opening jobs, creating schedules, and steering content through approval, renewal, and expiration processes.
  • Provide ongoing visibility of project health by maintaining up-to-date project information in the project management system for various reporting and analysis.
  • Move projects forward by removing blockers, mitigating risks, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Maintain production and publication planning documents, including content inventories and calendars.
  • Participate in recording sessions/shoots-taking notes, providing and facilitating feedback, and assisting with technology and logistics.
  • Transcribe audio or procure transcripts from a vendor; proof transcripts to ensure accuracy as well as correct formatting, punctuation, style, etc.
  • Upload final approved copy, imagery, audio, and video to appropriate distribution channels.
  • Assist with podcast topic and story research.
  • Create call sheets for live-action video shoots.
  • Act as production coordinator on film sets.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of audio/video production and/or production experience with other mediums, working directly with clients, creative teams, and technical teams.
  • A solid grasp of basic and advanced production principles along with experience in successfully applying and advancing those principles.
  • Experience working within an established agency, production house, consultancy, or marketing firm.
  • A strong solutions-oriented approach and understanding of agency processes.
  • An established track record of success delivering a wide range of small to large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with podcasts as a regular listener; understanding of the podcast ecosystem, including audio hosting and syndication to podcast applications.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across disciplines.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude and the flexibility to operate in a dynamic environment with deadlines and changing demands.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General understanding of investing and personal finance.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Fluency with enterprise-level project management tools such as those used for work management, issue tracking, or collaboration.
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industry.
  • Understanding of animation and motion design and ability to articulate differences and best practices for utilization.
  • Expertise in audio production techniques, including fluency with browser-based recording platforms, audio-editing software, and hardware (microphones, headphones, portable recorders, and accessories).
  • Deep knowledge of the podcast industry, including distribution, analytics, marketing/promotions, and emerging trends.
