DeHaven Camera Rentals works closely with clients to match equipment packages to specific creative and technical needs. The team values professionalism, responsiveness, and a service-oriented approach that helps productions run smoothly from prep through wrap.


Role Description The Rental Agent role is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for assisting clients with equipment selection, preparing rental quotes, and coordinating bookings for cameras, lenses, and production accessories. Day-to-day tasks include managing reservations and communication with clients, checking references and verifying insurance, updating inventory systems, managing and sourcing sub rentals from local providers. The Rental Agent will respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in person, ensuring clear communication about pricing, availability, and technical specifications. The role also supports production teams with basic gear recommendations, collaborates with warehouse staff to stage orders, and helps maintain a clean, organized rental area to deliver a positive client experience.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on professional, client-centered support.
  • Candidates should possess at least 1 yr in the role as a Rental Agent experience, including handling reservations, contracts, and equipment check-in/check-out processes. We will not respond to canidates with no previous experince in the role at this time.
  • Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with production teams and colleagues.
  • Basic knowledge of film and TV camera systems, lenses, and accessories, or strong interest and willingness to learn the technical aspects of camera rentals.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort using rental or inventory management software and common office tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM systems). Intellivent Software experience is a major plus and will move to the front of the line
