Job Title: Visual Inspection Engineer / Process Validation
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 6+ months
Experience: 7+ years

Job Summary:
The Visual Inspection Engineer will support validation and commissioning activities for automated andย semi-automated inspection systems within a fill/finish manufacturing environment. This role focuses on equipment validation, protocol development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate visual inspection equipment used in fill/finish processes
  • Lead commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities
  • Develop and execute validation protocols from scratch
  • Support PPQ activities and inspection line readiness
  • Troubleshoot and optimize inspection equipment performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance
  • Maintain accurate validation documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in visual inspection validation (pharma preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of fill/finish processes and PPQ
  • Experience with automated/semi-automated inspection systems
  • Expertise in validation protocols and GMP compliance (FDA/EU)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with systems like SASI, SAVI, SWITCH or similar inspection equipment
