Description
  • Provide system administration, user administration, user assistance, file transfers, backups, laptop control, printouts, Sudo, NMCI pre-support (to validate issue is actually NMCI) and documentation creation/updates.
  • Communicate effectively with others; work independently under limited supervision. Perform administrative tasks such as managing print-outs, filing paperwork, creation and editing of business documentation.
  • Perform basic IT functions such as basic user account creation, password resets, file permissions changes, user assistance, file transfers, monitoring backups, handling IT hardware.

Requirements
  • Per Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8140.01, this position shall require Information Assurance Technicians (IAT) Level 2 certification (both an Information Assurance (IA) certification and a Windows Operating System (OS) certification).
  • Five (5) years of specialized experience in the operation and maintenance of the equipment that comprises the A Department.
    • The specialized experience includes system administration, user administration, user assistance, file transfers, backups, laptop control, printouts, Sudo, NMCI pre-support (to validate issue is actually NMCI) and documentation creation/updates.
  • This individual should demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform administrative tasks such as managing print-outs, filing paperwork, creation and editing of business documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience performing basic IT functions such as basic user account creation, password resets, file permissions changes, user assistance, file transfers, monitoring backups, handling IT hardware.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Active Secret with eligibility for Top Secret required.
