Job description

Job Summary
This is a โ€œfront of the houseโ€ position where the primary role is to meet and greet customers both on the phone and in person. We are looking for someone to facilitate a seamless and pleasant exchange when customers are coming and going. It is the most visible role within our company.ย 

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Client Interaction
  • Database Entry and Filing Paperwork
  • Cross-Selling our products and services including training, grooming, daycare, boarding, and dog park
  • Gathering vaccine records and information needed for the care and welfare of our customerโ€™s dogs, including but not limited to: shot records, special requests, health issues, grooming instructions, and feeding instructions
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace
  • Support other staff members, including taking dogs and belongings between the office and kennel

Qualifications and Skills
  • Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Database experience
  • Successful work history demonstrating the outlined responsibilities and duties
  • Experience in animal care industry preferred but not required
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team
  • Must be dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented

Job Type

  • Hours needed between 14-25. We work M-F 7:15-11 am and 2:45-6 pm
  • Looking for two candidates that can ideally work both shifts of a day, 2-3 days per week
