What are Filing Interns?

Filing Interns are entry-level professionals who assist organizations with organizing, sorting, and maintaining physical or digital records. Their main responsibilities include labeling and storing documents, retrieving files upon request, and ensuring records are kept orderly and up to date. Filing Interns may also help digitize paper documents, follow confidentiality protocols, and support administrative staff. For a filing intern, $23 an hour is above the average internship pay, which typically ranges from minimum wage to around $15-$20 per hour.
