Job Description
The Help Desk Assistant will maintain a high level of customer service by following up on tier one technical service and other customer issues. This will involve rapid response to Help Desk inquiries (which may include performing tier one maintenance, installations, and support) and troubleshooting issues for current customers, to include students, parents/guardians and staff. The Help Desk Assistant will follow up with and maintain contact with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of technical issues.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma is required. An Associates degree in Computer Science or the equivalent in experience is preferred.
  • Computer/network support in a help desk position or equivalent customer service experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the Macintosh OS X (desktop and server), strong troubleshooting and customer service skills required
  • Networking experience preferred.
  • Relational database experience, particularly with FileMaker or SQL, is desired.
  • Moodle or other LMS experience, html knowledge, and experience or interest in Educational Technology is a plus.
