You will gain valuable industry knowledge and experience around the sales and procurement processes, RFP/RFQs, and pipeline generation. You will be working hand in hand with executive leadership when creating strategy and deal structure.   • Ability to work collaboratively to learn necessary skills to complete the team's daily workload, provide backup, and prepare communications to Account Executives

  • Learn to ask consultative questions to determine the best technology for customers
  • Acquire ability to quote and book orders from Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Begin to focus on one solution set including hardware and software components to learn the details of that solution set

What Your Typical Day Will Be:
  • Develop new business and regenerate interest from inactive client accounts, by means of cold calling, emailing, and social media cadences.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executives and the Marketing team to help drive prospects to company events.
  • Pull and scrub leads lists from B2B data platforms, while setting appropriate filters and parameters, to develop targeted prospect lists.
  • Maintain communications, along with an organized leads database and CRM, using the tools provided by VectorUSA. Leads may be generated by any of the following: list pulled from online databases, VectorUSA Account Executives, marketing campaigns, partner manufacturers, and/or 3rd party campaigns, 90 days no touch, software and support renewals.
  • Provide pertinent notes within these databases, regarding client needs, budgets, and timelines.
  • Attend workshops, training, VectorUSA hosted, and 3rd party events, as directed by management
  • Flexible with demands on time and able to deal with frequent and last-minute scheduling changes
  • Perform the day-to-day management functions required to provide our customers with accurate and timely delivery of hardware, software and services
  • Provide high-level administrative support to Account Executives
  • Company prospecting and research
  • Creating and editing customer facing proposals
  • Generating requested quotes
  • Managing and following up on deployment orders or sales orders
  • Troubleshooting account issues
  • Follow up with customers when status changes occur (i.e. delays or product discontinuation)
  • Ensure that documentation is complete and accurate
  • Provide post-sale support including return merchandise authorizations, accounts receivable issues and other customer service satisfaction issues
  • Effectively use VectorUSA internal contact and quoting system in CRM & FileMaker.
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or a related experience, or equivalent corporate training
  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience, whether inside/outbound or outside sales, with a track record of success (enterprise technology sales experience is a plus)
  • Knowledge and understanding of CRM systems
