Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized and proactive Immigration Paralegal to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to our attorneys by preparing immigration filings, managing case files, communication with clients, and ensuring timely case progression.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file immigration applications and petitions with USCIS, EOIR, and other governments agencies.
- Draft immigration forms, legal correspondence, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review
- Maintain accurate physical and electronic case files.
- Monitor case deadlines and follow up on pending matters.
- Communicate with clients regarding case status, document requests, and procedural updates.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for interviews, hearings, and other immigration proceedings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with firm policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role is preferred
- Experience preparing USCIS applications, Immigration Court, EOIR, and ECAS.
- Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent research skills
- Comfortable Microsoft Office and case management software
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
