Workers Compensation Legal Assistant

LaBovick Law Group is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Legal Assistant to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and supporting a fast-paced legal team.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and ready to contribute to the day-to-day movement of workers’ compensation cases. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating professionally, and keeping case files accurate and on track.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all documents are accurately filed and accessible.
  • Update case management systems with status, deadlines, and key case details.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, pleadings, and other documents.
  • Copy, scan, print, and file documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Schedule attorney appointments and maintain accurate calendar entries.
  • Request and obtain medical records and bills from providers.
  • Assist with discovery preparation and responses.
  • Process cost bills and prepare check requests as needed.
  • Assist with draft closing statements and bill reduction requests.
  • Support attorneys and case staff with day-to-day case progression.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous legal support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, document handling, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience with case management systems is a plus.
