Sit-Down Forklift Operator (1st Shift) – Temp-to-Hire

Schedule

4 days per week | 12-hour shifts

1st Shift: 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Days Off: Saturday, Sunday, plus one rotating weekday

Kelly is hiring experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators for Talking Rain Beverage Company in Preston, WA. If you're a safety-focused warehouse professional with recent forklift experience, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected company offering consistent full-time hours, long weekends, and the opportunity for permanent employment.

What You'll Do
  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
  • Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions accurately
  • Complete daily pre-shift forklift inspections
  • Stack and store products while following warehouse safety standards
  • Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
  • Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse while following GMP standards
  • Follow all warehouse, food safety, and quality procedures
  • Support team operations and work overtime as needed
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
  • 1–2 years of recent sit-down forklift experience
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse or distribution experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed
