Firehouse Subs is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook / Slicer to join our team. This role is essential to keeping our kitchen stocked, organized, and ready for service. The ideal candidate has prior experience slicing deli meats, cheeses, and vegetables and can work efficiently during daytime hours.
Responsibilities
  • Slice deli meats and cheeses to Firehouse Subs standards
  • Prep fresh vegetables and other ingredients daily
  • Label, store, and rotate food properly (FIFO)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized prep area
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
  • Assist the kitchen team as needed during prep hours

Requirements
  • Previous experience slicing deli meats, cheeses, and vegetables (required)
  • Daytime availability (required)
  • Ability to use commercial slicers safely and correctly
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [25-40] lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Compensation: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
