Role Title: Taproom Bartender

Pay: $18.31 / hr + tips

Hours: 3-5 shifts / week

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt (qualifies for overtime pay)

 

HenHouse Brewing Co. is seeking an exceptional taproom bartender to join our Novato taproom team.

We believe that every guest interaction is an opportunity to create a memorable experience.

The bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing knowledgeable and attentive service, and representing the HenHouse brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. More than simply serving beer, bartenders are ambassadors for our company, building relationships with guests while creating experiences that encourage them to return.

Successful Bartenders combine hospitality, efficiency, teamwork, a passion for craft beer, and attention to detail while contributing to a clean, organized, and energetic taproom environment.

 

Work location(s)

We are seeking a bartender to join our Novato Taproom team specifically, but the ability to cross-train at our other locations (Petaluma & Santa Rosa) is highly encouraged.

Schedule

  • This position requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. 
  • Scheduled hours will vary based on business needs. Typically shifts range from 5-8 hours per day and begin in the late morning to early afternoon, and end between 6-10pm. This is subject to change.
  • Number of shifts per week generally ranges from 3 to 5 depending on the needs of the business and the bartending team.

Prior Experience 

Successful applicants for this position will likely possess the following minimum experience:

  • 3+ years in the hospitality field (restaurants, brewpubs, bars, wineries, cafes, etc.)
  • 1+ years in the craft beer industry
