A Brief Summary of This Position:

The IT Associate Programmer Analyst supports the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise business applications. This entry-level position collaborates closely with senior developers, business analysts, project teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable technology solutions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to application enhancements. This role provides valuable hands-on experience across the AI driven Software Development Life Cycle (ADLC) while building technical expertise and business process knowledge. The IT Associate Programmer Analyst actively engages end users and business stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle to ensure requirements are accurately understood, validated, and delivered. Working under the guidance of lead developers and project leaders, this position participates in application development, systems integration, and user acceptance testing activities, including planning, configuration, development, scheduling, execution support, issue management, and scope coordination.

The role works collaboratively with project teams to document, prioritize, track, and resolve application defects and project issues, ensuring testing objectives and implementation deliverables are completed within established timelines. Success in this position requires a foundational understanding of application architecture, system integration principles, and the relationship between technology solutions and business operations, along with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Essential Functions:

  • This position reports to the Manager IT Business Applications and has no direct or indirect reports.
  • This role requires up to 15% travel (internationally/domestically), including overnight stays.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall or other similar application lifecycle methodology to develop solutions.
  • Support analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of business applications.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, documentation and solution design activities.
  • Develop, maintain and troubleshoot application components under supervision.
  • Assist with unit, integration and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Support application deployments and production issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials.
  • Collaborate with business users and project teams to improve processes and applications.
  • Follow development standards, security requirements and change management processes.
  • Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications for Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, MIS, Software Engineering or related field.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience including internships, co-ops or academic projects.
  • Foundational knowledge of software development, lifecycle methodologies, databases and application
  • support.
  • Experience through coursework, internships, academic projects or professional work using one or more
  • technologies such as C#, .NET, VB.NET, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Angular, React, Asp.Net, HTML/CSS or similar
  • technologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps or similar source control tools.
  • Exposure to modern web development and component-based user interface frameworks.
  • Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI-assisted development tools through academic, internship, or personal
  • projects. Experience using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants to improve
  • Productivity, code quality, and technical learning is a plus.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Service desk or any similar request management system experience.
  • Must be team and result oriented.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and proficient in English (written and verbal).

  • RPA (MS Power Automate) and Power Apps experience.
