This position is expected to employ sound lending skills, maximize potential profits and follow policies for effective collection of accounts. This position is also responsible for providing excellent customer service which is an integral part of marketing the branch and Company.

Hourly Pay range: $17 - $20

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist an entire state with loan applications, call volume flows, and other processes as deemed within the Field Support Program.
  • Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers on the phone and in the office with:
    • Questions
    • Concerns
    • Product availability and knowledge of the product
  • Services past due accounts per Company policies, including:
  • Completing call route daily
  • Performing skip-tracing on select accounts
  • Updates information at each customer contact, including:
    • Update the borrower's record
    • Service loans (renewal, referral, increase, etc.)
    • Promote all products available including tax preparation
  • Takes loan application and processes for approval/denial
  • Posts payments (cash, money order, check, debit card, inter-branch)
  • Prepares loan documents and executes loan closing on current renewal loans
  • Balances assigned cash drawer daily
  • Prepares and completes the daily branch bank deposit
  • Securely transports operating cash, interim deposits, and daily branch bank deposits to and from a bank in accordance with Company policies
  • Maintains daily delinquency reports
  • Completes weekly progress reports
  • Assists with making and understanding monthly/yearly branch operating standards
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and professional work environment
  • Completes weekly training on World U and any additional assigned training requirements
  • Assists with training other Associates
  • Other duties include but are not limited to:
    • Call approved and unmade applications to close the loan
    • Follow the Former Borrower paid out program daily
    • Send complete and accurate credit denial letters within 30 days from the date of application
    • Pay branch expenses as instructed by Branch Manager

The Field Support Specialist is also responsible for completing additional duties assigned by the Branch Manager (or above) as long as they are within Company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications for the Field Support Specialist is as follows:

  • Must have reliable personal transportation to perform essential job duties, including transporting operating cash and daily deposits to and from a bank
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance as required to perform assigned duties

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma, preferably with a college level degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Must be licensed or have the ability to obtain licensing to sell insurance products
  • Must be able to demonstrate self-confidence and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work well with a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • To perform this job successfully, team member must have basic computer skills.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Officebased role with standard lighting and noise levels
  • Combination of stationary work and regular movement throughout the office, including occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, and similar activities
  • Occasional light lifting, pushing, or pulling of office materials (generally up to 30 pounds)
  • Ability to perform computer work, handle documents, and communicate information effectively
  • Fastpaced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines; requires professionalism, adaptability, collaboration, and multitasking
  • Frequent interaction with customers and coworkers; must communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and electronically
  • May perform incidental tasks to help maintain a professional office environment
  • Occasional local travel to offsite locations as required for business purposes
  • Regular in-person attendance during scheduled work hours is essential; occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required based on business needs
